I tried it yesterday. No dice! Will try again after I type this. ...

Update: not only no--but heck no. The site locks up when I click on the build an RT link. I tried both the link above and the BRP site links. I could say stuff....but won't. Life is to short to get upset about something like this.

Here is what I ended up with

Everything is up and running, takes a while to add accessories,

Cognac is growing on me

The monthly payment is with a 7.9% interest rate over 7 years, a 1.9% rate reduces it to $550:yikes:

Now I have a build book too.

of course there were a few items I omitted, like inside trailer light, but most
everything else I got. If I stay with Timeless Black then my current 622RT is
good to go and I will save approx $5500, and need to add GPS, but will then transfer my luggage, but that cognac…………..

How did you come up with $12,000 in options? There were only about $3,000 available on an RTS. Never mind! But I still couldn't come up with $12,000. I didn't know that the electrical options had an expandable menu.

Now, second question, will they actually ship the unit with your extras already installed? Or is this just for pricing purposes?

When I was at the Can-Am booth on Thanksgiving the California
West Coast Regional dealer rep "Steve" said they were shipping
units to dealerships around the 10th of this month December, to
the dealerships in his region. I told him we thought January on this
forum, he said thats not what he was told:dontknow:

Anne, The trailer is approx $5500 of the options, the rest are
from putting add ons from the various list of accessory
choices, like $899 for heated seat and $449 for back rest,
starts to add up quick. I want the bluetooth phone which
requires CB etc. I wanted chrome deflectors, but may need
to scale back, heck I need to still have installed a third brake light.:gaah:



If I stay with my current trailer in timeless black, I can get a RTS
and still use my luggage from the 2010 premier edition. I will probably
get a new GPS rather than transfer it over. Or maybe I just have my
trailer painted by Spyder Dan the painterhyea:

Mine worked after I turned off the Compatibility View Button on the address bar. My Build It was cheaper to get the RT and add most of the RT-S stuff I wanted than it was to get the RT-S.

It wouldn't allow me to add a trailer hitch without adding a trailer.

There are probably a few quirks, when I added the trailer it popped
up to add the hitch, also when I added the cellphone interface on a
RTS it said there were 3 required accessory,GPS+ CB+ entertainment
harness. and to click the add button if I wanted the cell phone interface.

Also SpyderAnn01, When I did the build I added just about everything to see
how high a price could be created on the Limited. Added Black wheels
front and back, the new pipes, the chrome adjustable handle bars, and on and on

I am going to make every effort to be at the show Friday evening, even if my
Spyder is not back from the dealership. Don't think they will have demo rides
going friday, but maybe. I got a three day pass, as a Harley friend of mine
who went with me to the IMS December of 2009 and video taped me riding the
kindergarden course ( which I have never shown to anyone) :roflblack: is going to
for the first time demo one. He is selling his 1993 Harley but wants to still keep
riding with his wife. So I am gonna hold his hand so to speak.

Are you only going to the show on Friday? I'm not sure what time we will get to town so I don't know if we will go Friday night or just on Saturday.

I couldn't find the comparability button or the section on the trailer section. I guess the good news for me is that I can't spend as much as you can!

Seriously though, I can travel all over the web and the BRP seems to be the only site I have issues with currently. I get the empty garage and the options show RT, RT'S, or RT LTD. If I click on any of those it goes to the black screen that shows evinrude, rotax, seadoo, etc.

If I click on the orange "build it" the screen also reverts back to the black screen above.
