• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BRP Spyder Maintenance Survey

I got this in my EMAIL today. I own Spyder RT-S SM5. The survey allowed me to identify myself as the owner of any 2012 or earlier model Spyder.

I always wondered - do we all get these surveys (I have completed others) or do they select just a few of us?

Received, and completed, the survey today. Added comments on a couple of maintenance requirements (Iridium plug replacement and valve adjustment at 14,000 miles).

Didn't have any service performed recently.....

Did you recently have your Spyder in for service? If so, that's what generated the e mail.
Nope. Not at all. My 2012 Spyder RT-S SM5 has been a dream since I purchased new. Last service was last fall (this is Ohio so I was putting away for the season) and it coincided with the recommended service (that was when they swapped out the oil filter, etc. for the new filter, etc. so now I am on the new, longer maintenance schedule they changed over to last year).

Prior to that, the break-in maintenance service.

No recent service. Nothing at my end to prompt me to be contacted that I know of...

I understand your point - you take something in for servicing and there are follow-up contacts from the dealership and/or manufacturer. Not the case here.

Cindi got one of these but I didn't...don't know if it's because she bought Lind's purple Spyder in Missouri...I got a survey about 9 months ago on my 2009...

They really questioned the whole, "What do you think about the ownerships costs?" stuff... Servicing, accessories, even aftermarket parts/

Maintenance Survey

Received mine on Tuesday, my RT Limited is coming out of the shop tomorrow, and my RT-622 gets new wheel hubs on Tuesday. Oy vay, am I going to be ready for Spyderfest!

Hope I didn't mess up their survey...

Since apparently the survey email was not sent to everyone, I wonder if I messed up their survey by posting a screenshot of the email that included the link to the survey site?

Perhaps they were only looking for responses from the "super-intelligent" and that is why I got one and so many others didn't? Also explains why some spouses got one - but the other didn't?

Hope I didn't mess up their survey !!

P.S. Just kidding !!

Also, got the same survey email yesterday. When I clicked on it a second time - it reported I already had participated and thanked me. Must have placed a cookie in browser? Or recorded my I.P. address?

I took the second email as a reminder in case I ignored the first one.

Well if they were looking for all of you "Super Intelligent" types; I guess that when I peed in their pool, I wrecked their survey! :D :roflblack: Oddly enough; I had just taken my RT to the dealer for servicing... :dontknow:

Thanks for that link.
I've not seen any email, but happy to take the survey.
My main disappointment is the missing 'service' in the Service Department from the dealer where I got the bike.
