BRP has released the list for BRP sponsored Rallys for 2016...and the Nor Cal Spyder Rally is proud to say we are the ONLY BRP sponsored West Coast rally. Our Rally Planning Committee is hard at work planning the best entertainment, Spyder games, events, vendors, rides and activities possible, so you can simply show up and partake in the fun. If you're not into group rides, we will also be offering our rides on downloadable GPX file for you to load into your navigation. No Navigation? We also offer downloadable turn-by-turn directions. Wow

I signed up! Can't wait. I love that area. I was just over there last week with a group of 20 Spyder Ryders and it was awesome. Some great restaurants in the area and I understand that the Black Oak Casino is the host hotel! That way I can Ryder my Spyder in the morning and lose it at the Blackjack table that evening! Seriously this sounds like a bunch fun and I can't wait. BTW, I just booked my room and they are going fast, but the hotel told me they would be opening another block of rooms to accommodate the unbelievable response they have had for this event! BTW, what type of rydes do you have planned? Woo Hoo can't wait. Love the fact that we will be in the redwoods and it will be WARM!:yes::yes::yes:

Yes...we have confirmed with the Casino that they are opening another block of rooms, as it seems we have filled the original rooms set aside for guests.

Additionally, If you visit our 'Rydes' page on the rally website (https://sites.google.com/site/norcalspyderrally/rydes), You will find a list of rides (both Group Led and Self-Guided) that is continually growing as the Planning Committee continues to meet. We have heard feedback on other rallys/events, and have really tried to incorporate what the people asked for.

Those rydes look amazing. I would love to take that Ebbetts Pass Ryde. I have been on that route and it is breathtaking. With elevation ranges from 4000 ft to Over 8700 at the pass, and unbelievable scenery all along the way! I hope many many Ryders sign up for this great event. I am sure they will have a blast!

Sorry you can't make it this year, but we'll surely have another rally next year...and the year after that, and so on...
We'll be uploading pix & video of the rally rides to the Nor Cal Spyder Rally website after it concludes his year, so you can 'kind of' participate in the fun this inaugural year

NCSR Spyder Games

We will also be offering Spyder games. Our Games Master (Yes, we bestowed the title upon him) has been hard at work compiling a plethora of Spyder games to play at the Nor Cal Spyder Rally. We have compiled approximately 8 Spyder games to play throughout the rally, and as a teaser, here is just one of the fun themed games to be played incorporating your Spyder::clap:

Real Drag Races:
Riding Timed Event, Side by Side Racing, repeated Mount/Dismount
Play:
The riders start at a starting line and rides a distance to where bags of clothing are waiting. The riders dismount their motorcycle and puts on 3 items of clothing of the opposite gender. Once dressed the riders re-mount their motorcycle and rides back to the finish line.
Winner:
Rider with the fastest time wins!
Equipment Needed:
Bags of Extra Large Men’s and Women’s Clothing (Shirts, Pants, Dresses, Skirts, Bras, Hats, Ties, etc…)
Variations:
More or less articles of clothing. Individual or Side by Side or Team event.

Good News

Well there is good news! as I posted earlier this event has become so popular that we have sold out of the first block of rooms and opened the next block of rooms. So if you called the Black Oak Casino and found that there were no rooms call back and book that room. This going to be a lot of fun, in fact, we just had another committee meeting last night and we can now announce, that for all of you performance junkies out there we are going to have Spyder Drag Races, at this event. At the West Coast's only BRP sponsored Spyder event, you know we're going to have fantastic Rydes....but did you know that we're also playing Spyder Games? That's right, we'll be playing games that can test your skills against your fellow Spyder Ryders and will continue the fun into the evening. ...
Here is just a sample:

Tail of the Dragon

Hyw 4 fron the crest to Markleeville is the west coast sister to the Tail of the Dragon. You will be glad your on a :spyder2:. But it is beautiful. Roadside waterfalls, high mountain lakes, the Carson River, motorhomes getting stuck on the very tightest of hairpin turns.ray:

Highly recomended though.
