• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BRP Side Deflectors

We have them our RTL now going on 3 years.... They help keep us cooler and warmer depending on the position. I would not be without them here?.

No doubt, in one of the positions, they appear to be a legitimate scoop. Thereby grabbing and directing cooler air onto the rider compartment.

As I mentioned, I quickly removed the oem deflectors as a test to see / feel any changes. I had no scoop effect to force and redirect air, just allowed it to follow the changed body work

We stopped by Riva in Pompano after the wife's company picnic. The parts guy worked a little on price, but not enough to be irresistible at the moment. Had already spent her Spyder allowance for a couple of weeks.

Them there Air Wings are $189.00 Thats a lot for two pieces of plastic!

If my memory serves me right, (and sometimes at my old age it doesn't) the BRP deflectors are just about $140.00 and are a third of the size of the Bakers. I'd say the BRP cost more per inch of plastic used.

2014 parts catalog from BRP is $189.00

You might want to check that. I believe that price is for the Chromed set. The clear set is $149 MSRP. I got my clear set on Ebay for $99.

Bob, are the clear deflectors truly "clear" or are they more of a crinkle finish? All the photos I have seen show something other than a "clear' such as what I have on my 2014 stock deflectors. Thanks.
BTW, my BT dongle is still working fine. Thanks

They are not clear you are correct. They are semi-clear with a crinkle finish. I wish they were clear so they would match the upper deflectors! Alas they are not. They also stick out farther and a little higher than stock. I do like them though.
I plan on getting the chrome uppers so in hind sight I should have gotten the chrome adjustables.

I can take a picture or do a little demo video if you would like?

Anyone want to trade with some cash? e.g. you have the chrome but want the clear?

All else fails, I may paint them black. I will wait and see when I get the chrome uppers.
