• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BRP shop manual

I would caution you if you have an 18 to be sure it is really an updated manual. The one I purchased for 17 did not have the updates for BUDS2 which is needed for late build 17 and sll 28s.

I bought one of the internet manuals for @ 60$.This is where they download and print all 700 pages and put them in a nice binder.I think for 24$ you have to download and print yourself. All info was there except that the electrical system schematics are so small and possibly missing some info that they are almost useless.

That would be my concern also. Just because they advertise it covers the 2017/2018, doesn’t guarantee all updated info. It takes additional work to update those manuals. Additional work = additional cost to the provider. I would be very disappointed if my 2018 was not covered to the detail I needed even if the price seemed right.

I purchased same a couple of months ago for my 2017 F3T that I bought new in June. Says it was update 10/2017. It has 1328 pages. So much better than a printed manual. You can word search for quickly locating the info you want and you can zoom in on graphics and diagrams to better see the detail. Easy to print the page you need to have while working on your Spyder. Your manual stays clean! Quick link to BRP for parts catalogue. Not as much detail as I would like for some things, but I suspect that is BRP's fault. Still well worth the price.

Regards,

Don

So far every shop manual that I have seen is just a copy of the original BRP one. It doesn't seem to make a difference who the vendor is. 2008 to 2012 are just scans of the paper manual and 2013 and on, are actual digital copies. The parts catalog that comes with it is just a screen print of the free online BRP parts catalog anyway. So I would just look at the online catalog because it is always up to date. So my conclusion is just buy from the cheapest vendor. It will be the same.

Whelp, why not pull the trigger. Cheap enough. Only way to find out is to purchase it.

Shop Manual BRP

I All Spyderman

I decided to buy the book that I speak in my first message, I'm half satisfied, it shows a lot of things, but not those that I wanted to see unfortunately.
I'm over on the brakes paragraph, and some other little things I'm going to do with BRP's big shop manual costs over $ 250.00 US :yikes:
