BRP RT Intercom question

We got so tired of fighting with the installed intercom that we bought the Scala bluetooth headsets and they are great. However, for our trip to Spyderfest I would like to be able to use the CB and installed intercom for group rides. Does anyone here use the installed CB and intercom, I'm having a hell of a time (again) getting the settings right. HELP :helpsmilie:

I use the intercom and CB. The only problem I have is setting the VOX on the intercom. If I set it so the intercom triggers with a normal tone of voice, sometimes the wind noise will trigger it and that will cut out the IPOD feed. If I set the intercom so wind noise won't cut out the tunes, then you need to speak loudly to talk on the intercom. Not yelling or speaking uncomfortably loud, just not something you are in the habit of doing.
I set the VOX sensitivity about 25% up from the bottom.

I set the squelch on the CB just a notch above the bottom so I can hear everyone around me.

I set the mic volume fairly high, about 60% off the bottom.

I set the overall volume at about 75% off the bottom because I wear earplugs when riding.

Thanks Chris. Not too many folks paid for the intercom/CB, and I wouldn't do it again, but I'm sure we'll find someone (maybe BRP) at Spyderfeast.
