• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BRP Passenger Seat Bag?

I forgot to mention, the with the cortech tail bag yo don't have to remove or detach the mounting cords to add fuel to the gas tank. The cords stretch enough with out removing them. You do however need to hold the seat up because the bag will tend to puch the seat down.

Yup, that's true. I use the gas cap to wedge the seat open. As I recall, someone had a permanent mod that used a hinged stick to keep the seat up.

I've got one and used it to keep tools and other things on the trip to TN. Mike and I went thru the most rain I ever have seen on the Spyder - and everything inside stayed 100% dry.

Works well for me.
:gaah: RAIN!!! Yep...we hit some pretty hard stuff!

I used Scotty's idea and had two Sealine bags strapped to the back. Everything stayed dry. Plus, the bags are yellow and match my Spyder. :D

OK, gotta check out the seal-line bags - I need something 100% waterproof. So far my Nelson Rigg Survivor series is so I'll stick w/ it but I just wanted something that looks a little nicer. But for now it works!

I'd like a hard case on the back of it someday.

Nancy has a BRP seat bag and uses it all the time. Very handy! Not 100% waterproof, but it does quite well in a mild rain with the rubber flaps on the zippers. There is a place in the bottom to carry a laptop computer if you wish. BTW, it does fit on the BRP Comfort Seat, too, even though the back portion of that seat is smaller. For trips, I use a Helen2Wheels bag and/or a Seal-Line bag laid across the back seat, though, secured with packing straps (Helen2Wheels, Rok-Straps, or PiggyBack Straps).

Both the SealLine bags and the Helen2Wheels are 100% waterproof. There are other brands, too. They have two types, one that opens at one end, and another that is like a duffel bag and opens from end to end. That one is very easy to pack and unpack. The Helen2Wheels are nice because they have a cordura finish instead of glossy urethane, have built-in compression straps and attachment loops, and have reflective stripes for safe night riding. More expensive than SealLine, though. I seldom use my hard topcases, the bags are more practical.

That is the one that I use. It works great! I had it on my spyder the day we went to the Hillsdale Diner. I should of shown it to you. It is expandable and has some extra side pockets as well as some inner small pockets for pens, maps, keys or whatever. The price is not too bad for what you get. It's a nice bag. I think you would like it!

This is the sport bag from Newenough with some various photos describing the options. They have a good price on this bag too.
