• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BRP or GIVI Hardbag Attachments

I just picked up my new Spyder RS M5 today. What are the advantages and disadvantages of BRP vs. GIVI hardbag attachments? I like reliable and easy to install.

Thanks for any suggestions.

They both use Givi bags, and either would be a good choice. The BRP bags have removable brackets...handy if you like the sporty look once in a while. Also handy for cleaning and working in the rear wheel or muffler area. The other big difference between them is the turn signal location and relocation method. The BRP method keeps the turn signals higher, but the relocation brackets get in the way of panel removal. Nancy has the BRP version, and they are great! We would buy them again in a heartbeat.

BRP vs GIVI

Scotty--

I think that you guys are using entirely different hardbags than I am considering. I have a 2011 RS M5.

The 2011 RS takes the same saddlebags as the 2008 GS. Not sure what you think is different.
