BRP on the BRP hotel for 6/11-6/12

Here is a hotel we are thinking about for a stay on the BRP. It is $111.00 per night but we are trying to get a number of ryders together so that we can get a cheaper rate. I like this one the best, and IMO we could have a lot of fun there. Let me know what you think.

Tryin to get a group of us in there to get a lower rate. Has a shuttle into downtown if you feel like a few drinks. Indoor pool if you feel like a swim. Anybody else?

We were just in Roanoke Virginia Tuesday and Wednesday. Stayed in the historic Hotel Roanoke for a meeting. What a neat place. However, I know that would be an expensive proposition. I haven't been in Roanoke for many years and can't belive how it's grown. On the way back home we took 116 out of town. Man what a great twisty that would have been on the Spyder!!!!

If you are looking for convenient to BRP accomodations, I would suggest that you look into "Route 220 South" or "Tanglewood Mall area" listings. The Cambria Suites is in downtown Roanoke, the other side of I0581 from the Hotel Roanoke. You should be able to find something with the above listings for list than $111.00. I figure that this is a safe 8-10 miles from the BRP exit.

I found a couple places in the Tanglewood area. Didn't see a whole lot that I liked, but I will look again. Any suggestions as to a particular place in those areas?
