BRP Fog lights

I recently purchased a set of pre-owned fog lights for my 13 RS. I would like to install them myself since the dealer is a little expensive! I have noticed in all of the installation instructions online that a harness is needed? Is that also true for the 13s vs. the 08-12 models? I do not have the BRP HID lights which states that the harness is needed. Is it also needed for just installing to oem headlights? The instructions all seem to be for the 08-12 models? Thanks

No harness is needed if you do not have the factory HID headlights, as I recall.

Thanks,..I just wanted to be sure before I started the install. It looks like it will take me a while since this will be the first major install done to my spyder.

Don't know whether this applies but on my '11 RS SM with standard headlights, my BRP driving light kit had a harness to incorporate the switch and all from the one connection point.

Yes, there should be a harness and switch (and label) included with the foglight kit. An additional harness is needed if the Spyder has the factory HID option.

Anyone with a 13 RS install fog lights??

I have an 09 GS and when I installed the fog lights with standard headlights, there is a harness that gets replaced. It is included with the kit
