• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BRP event VIP invitation.

Got mine also, already registered, Can't figure out why there are directing people to Cherokee when the event is at Fairgrounds in maggie Valley almost 20 miles away
20 miles through the mountains will be heaven, compared to ten miles across Chicago from the hotel to the event! Enjoy the Ryde!

well I guess I better go to the post office tomorrow and see if I got my invitation...the Fair grounds is like right across the street from the motel we are staying at...A Holiday Motel...Comfort Inn is right there too....I'm ready to be there...sure wish I was going to SpyderFest......:(:gaah::(

Got mine today too.... too bad I'm 3 - 4 days away... :(

I'll just have to wait until BRP comes back to the west coast.

Just 1 1/2 days away; Florida x-Press was in CA, you shouldn't have a problem to be in NC...;)

Because that was the only hotel in the area that was available that met their requirements. The hotel has nothing to do with the event, all the action will be at the fairgrounds and that's great because folks booked rooms way before they announced the host hotel. :doorag:
:2excited: I do not remember any "big" hotels in Maggie Valley. FYI I do remember staying at Travelowes Motel, 828-926-1732 and the nice people who run it as well as the area itself. It is also a lot more reasonable then the host hotel. Very close to Wheels Through Time Museum. A place to go to on its own.
They liked the :spyder2:, the last time I was there.
OLDMANZUES

I got mine too. Unfortunately, we can't make it, but Maggie Valley area has nice riding roads. For those who are lucky to go. ENJOY!!!
Don't forget to tour Wheels thru time. My hubby wants to live in the museum!!! Heh Heh

They got slots and poker just down the street...

NOW, I'm impressed - that's at least 6,500 miles (RT). Are you planning to stay South & ride up the CA coast, or do the Las Vegas - Carson City bit, and come in through Yosemite - Clear Lake - Eureka? I can share POI for either route.

Last time I had to make that drive, I went Denver - Salt Lake - Reno, then you could choose, fast or scenic….
