• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BRP Contacts for Help with some serious issues

Anyone know a good contact at BRP that will return calls and can solve issues? My 2012 has been in the shop at a dealer in Lewisville, Texas since March 15, 2013, and between the Dealership and BRP, they can not solve the problem. Now if they ever get it fixed I will be afraid to ride it!

I know this might not help right now but get your butt up here to springfield and come see brp reps there must be a dozen here this week.

To the OP...does your state have a Lemon Law? I don't know the specifics of your issues\ circumstances, but one year in the shop would seem to qualify.

You must have the patience of Jobe. In the shop for over a year, I would be going balllistic and calling in the heavy armor. Get in touch with the State attorney General's office and get a claim started. BRP should at least be providing a loaner until the problem is solved.

Try Steve at BRP 888-272-9222

You need to take action and your dealer needs to get off their duff!

(A) I'm going to assume (something a lawyer is never supposed to do) that you meant 2014. If my assumption is wrong, then I'd say you have the patience of Job. If I am right and you did mean 2014, there are others who have had to wait longer times to get their issue resolved.

(B) It would help if you could in some way define what your issue is and what model you have.

(C) If BRP has been working on this issue with your dealership, then I'm not sure how someone with BRP will be anymore knowledgeable than the techs who are already working on the issue. Perhaps you are wanting someone at BRP to talk to you and explain what is being done?

All in all I realize that it HAS been awhile that your dealer has "confiscated your spyder" and I empathize that this can make one awfully anxious if not down right mad. Just try to hang on a bit more if you can.

:agree: Some clarification might be in order. 2013 or 2014 on the shop time? What are the issues that you have with the Spyder? What model?

I note the post for the OP is his first post.

Hard to say..!!

Bob gave you the name and number of the guy bridging the gap between BRP and the customer and will help wherever he can. Not knowing the issues your roadster is having makes it hard to understand why they would have it this long. If it has been this long there is something wrong between one or all parties involved. Hope you can give us more to go on though all we can do is be sympathetic and help explain maybe...good luck..!! :gaah:

If financed I'd be calling the bank. You're paying for something that you can't enjoy. Remember the squeaky wheel gets the grease.

I can't read this anymore, pisses me off.

More info would be nice.

Lemon law check?

Lawyer check?

Posse check? :banghead:

I would say at this point, let's hold off until we get some good information from the OP. Still online as I post this.
