• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BRP Connect/Radio Version ??'s

I'm having a problem getting BRP Connect to load to the infotainment system on my 2018 F3 L. I asked the dealership to make sure that it had the latest version. I was insured it did. I knew it would be needed as my F3 was built in January of 2018 making it one of the early ones (#399). I was able to get my iPhone 8s paired with no problems. Had the phone plugged into the USB port in the glovebox. After 10 minutes of it saying that it was "loading" I unplugged it and turned the trike off.

Two questions.

1.How long does it take on average to load MAPS?

2. See the picture below. Is this the latest version?

The maps are loaded into the phone and all the bike's dash does is show it in the one half of the screen. So as fast as it loads on the phone will be the same when connected to the bike. Your current version would need the phone connected both with cable and BT, unlocked and BRP Connect open when starting the bike. Once you get the dash updated you still have to be cable and BT connected and unlocked. The bike will open BRP Connect.

Thanks all!
Dealerships program shows that they did the update, but obviously something went wrong. I found a thread about this and forwarded it to them. Anyway, they will of course fix it.

Morning Ken. After u download the apps to your phone, open each app on your phone and go through set up process. This has to be done on phone for each app. Then when u open BRP Connect on your phone, each app should be displayed. If the app is grayed out, w a key icon covering it, you have to do more set up on phone. After all apps u want show full color icon, you’re good to go. Also check out YouTube, tons of great videos.
And since your F3 was early production, and you have to bring it to your dealer anyway; to get 13.20- ask them to run your VIN through the BRP system, and have them look for BRP Warranty Bulliten 2018-005. Some 2018’s have problems w “Left Hand Multifunction Switch “. After riding for a few months you will not be able to downshift or go in reverse. It starts out w it not downshifting from time to time to full failure. They can check your VIN, and if yours is listed, they will replace the Left Hand Multifunction Switch for you for free (of course). This will help avoid future problems and frustration. I believe I have a pic of the warranty Bulletin on my page.
Good luck, enjoy the new ride!

I found the pic of the bulletin. It's a lot easier posting pics on PC than iPad.

BRP Connect new version.

Good news Ken. I just spoke w BRP, there is a newer software version than 13.20
The new version is 20.3 so when you go to your dealer ask for that update. Can’t wait to see new update.
Good luck.
