• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BRP connect question

:dontknow: Downloaded the app on my phone. BRP connect is going to come on the new ride whether you like it or not, so I am researching and watching how to videos as we speak. some hate and some love. The biggest plus so far on the new RT is that you don't need tp put your phone in the Frunk as there is a storage tray with connector just infront of you:thumbup: so BRP is listening. This is suppose to be helpful when stopping to gas you don't need to disconnect and reconnect the phone I suppose.

Also getting Zumo 590 as I loved my zumo660 and this is suppose to be an improvement.

I use it and love it. I use Sygic for GPS and either my music or the iTunes Radio. I can track with Rever and create routes in the laptop app. Sygic and Genius route creation is like Google Maps. I have set up a BRP Connect Users group on Facebook.

I use it but it takes some getting used to! You can download it (and some of the compatible apps) on your phone and play with it, without hooking it up to your bike to see if you like it. Whatever apps you put on top will show up on your dash when you hit the button. I second the other posts and suggest you look on youtube to see it in action.

:2thumbs: Ditto, Sygic maps is the best. Use it and love it. There's a learning curve to BRP Connect that frustrates a lot of owners but once you learn it you'll appreciate it. Two thumbs up to BRP!
