BRP Bluetooth Question

I have a specific question for someone who has the BRP Bluetooth cable installed. This is the long cable that BRP sells with their version of the Sena SM10 bluetooth dongle that they intend to be mounted in the frunk.

Question is this... When listening to the bike entertainment system via a bluetooth headset, does the volume control on the handlebar multi-function control work AND does the automatic volume adjust setting (that adjusts the volume of the speakers up and down according to speed) work when using bluetooth instead of the bike's speakers?

The reason I ask is that I installed a shorter homemade harness from the radio to a Sena SM10, and everything works fine except for the two volume features above that seem to only work when using the bike's speakers. The only volume control I have available is the control on the headset.

. So I am wondering if there is more than one set of audio pin-outs on the radio, or if these two features are designed to only work with the speakers and not bluetooth or wired headsets.

No.
The volume controls on the handlebar do not affect the volume through the bluetooth headsets.
The only volume control is on the headsets themselves.
If needed, I've found a way to maximize the volume.
You can double tap the center button on the SM10. This increases the volume. You only need to do this once, and the setting remains when you turn the SM 10 on and off.
I've also found that if you connect the BRP audio cable to the AUX input instead of the LINE input, the volume is again louder.

FWIW, with my Sena SMH10 and ear plugs in I find the max volume setting very adequate up to 50-55 mph and I have very bad hearing to begin with. I have not done the double tap of the SM10 as ThreeWheels suggests but will try as I can always turn in down. Good info herein, thanks.

Volume is plenty loud enough, but I was looking forward to the adaptive volume adjustment automatically lowering the volume as I come to a stop, as it does when using the speakers. Guess if the radio volume doesn't work with Bluetooth, that feature wouldn't work either.
