• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BRP Anti-Vibe Kit

i seem to have a different vibration, my motor is smooth, but the front tires seem like they're way out of balance at 60-65 mph, not quite as bad when they're warmed up. i have the 1" riser and throttle meister. i put the tires on a good balance machine, they weren't out of round and the weights went right where the original weights were, then i put "RIDE-ON" flat sealer and balancer also, still get some shimmy! i have 8000 miles and the tires look like new, any thoughts?

Is it just bar end weights? How much? Maybe it would make more sense to just get the Throttlemeister instead. Cruise control plus anti-vibe for one price.

I have my throttlemeister sitting on the counter until I have time and some warmth to install...looking forward to this mod...it should offer a few improvements...I got the standard size as the rep. told me the extra weight might look a little too long for the Spyder...then again, it's all personal preference...I'm just looking to rest my right hand when on long rides...

Reduce your drive belt tension and see if it lessens or changes the vibration rpm. If so, harmonics. Run the belt looser than the factory spec, IMO. If that doesn't do it, suspect alignment.

Iv'e checked my belt tension, by hand only, against a few other spyders, seemed about the same, maybe even a little looser as iv'e accumulated more miles, I'm sure you could get away with a little less than BRP recommends, i hate to think of all that pressure on the front shaft bushing/ bearings, and some have already had rear bearing failures. My alignment seems perfect, 8000 miles, doesn't pull R or L, tires look like new, no cupping, uneven wear, nothing. I have 21lbs. air in the front since new, as it seemed to handle much better, i think i will go back to 17 lbs. to see if that makes a difference

I guess I have numb hands.... I don't notice the handle bars vibrating.. You don't suppose it might be the 4" risers that fix it??

However, never, or at least can't remember, if there was a lot of vibration or not.
ditto, what vibration? I have the risers also, but did not notice
it before either.
