• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have a 2012 Rts and went to fuel up over the weekend could not get the seat up luckily I had enough gas to make it to my dealer to find out my seat cable was broken and its not covered under warranty makes no sense just glad I did not break my key off so it only cost $190.00 to fix it :lecturef_smilie:

Different dealers sometimes treat the situation as a warranty issue. They should do the paperwork, submit it to BRP and let BRP make the final decision.

I consider the issue to be warranty.

:gaah:......I used some galvanized wire ( that bends & doesn't break ) to keep the seat latch open 95 % ......I just pull up the right side of the seat and it opens ......if I drop it, it latches enough to stay closed......Nobody steals gas from motorcycles ...it's not worth the effort.....................If i were you I'd do what I did .....$190 buys a lot of GAS ....Mike

sounds like a plan to me when I get my bike back and I can get my seat up thanks it's a bad feeling when you can't put gas in it and you only have a stick and a rock to work with at the gas station ha ha
