• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Brothers Flooded RT-L Update

All good news.
Bike is at the dealers - engine/transmission is working just fine. Lights, etc. all work. What is needed: Starter solenoid, maybe seat (Bob did not say, but my guess is new one needed) instrument cluster. By using the computer, the maintenance department could see what needed to be replaced and what worked. Engine was running smoothly - shifting just fine when Bob was there Saturday. Meanwhile a few parts are on order from BRP.

Like the Willie Nelson tune goes: On the road again!!

Hopefully he has flood insurance or comprehensive insurance that will cover the cost. If so, that will sure mitigate the pain, even as limited as it is!

Flood Insurance - Yes

Federal gov just declared the recent flood a disaster area. The hotel he is in also has a crew from FEMA that are working on the disaster flooding a few weeks prior to the flood that got my brother. He can fill out the paperwork at Happy Hour - hope that something comes of that.

Good to Hear.....

Glad it is looking like she will ryde again. Pricy but still better than a total loss and having to replace at full cost... and thanks for keeping us updated on the outcome. Good to know they do survive the total submersion....:yikes:
