Actually asked how much that panel would cost to replace, and was told $249. Haven't check yet, but does that site that Bob posted, sell those panels already painted?

I'm not sure which tabs are broken.
If the tabs are out of sight (most are), you can rebuild mounting tabs using some ABS cement with fiberglass joint tape as a substrate.

This isn't ODD, try and get almost any part for anything automotive from any dealer anywhere and you will get the same thing............When the dealers were forced to pre-pay for their inventory on hand ....it just got too expensive ........It's just a fact of life..............jmho........Mike :thumbup:

It's more than that.
You also have to pay TAXES on your in house inventory.
So of course, everyone keeps their inventory to a bare minimum.
We have the same thing at work, and we're a chemical factory, again keeping in house inventory to a bare minimum.

The clips can be bent back into position but the plastic is what usually breaks.

In 2013 they actually have right and left specific clips. :banghead: So Len, I think that the answer to your question would be 2014.

My thought too. But I'd said STEALER broke the other parts it's quite possible they broke that one too & failed to report it. & still wanna charge you for whole unit when you only need a simple piece:barf: opcorn: Sounds like you need better service.

When you are looking for parts it is a good idea to do a google search on the part number. I used to use cheapcycleparts but found out that they were usually not the cheapest on the part or the shipping. By doing a search on the mirror clip I got back several results, some fairly close in price but you have to factor in the shipping cost as well.

And don't ask me how I know this, but that $10 shipping cost gets expensive when you order and then find that you need some other parts.

Did you purchase the wire clip and plastic as an assembly or just the wire clip?

On the later years the spring clip is available separately, cost is $2.52 retail.

They sold me the wire already in the plastic, so yea the whole thing. I bought two of them at 15.42 each

We stock mirror clips and grommets because we often find the clips broken and grommets missing. I'd hate to have to tell a customer that they have broken or missing parts and not be able to replace them. If any of you are at a rally and have missing grommets or broken mirror clips stop by to see us and we will get you squared away.

HA. True indeed. I go to the Spyder dealership to get a grommet and they have none. I get brakes from Ann and Joe and they hook me up with my missing grommets while I'm there. :clap:
