Well back to same old problem but at least I broke down just a few hundred yards from my dealer. I was at the dealer and bought some gloves and when leaving the check engine light came on and the bike died just outside of his lot. I restarted and went a few hundred yards further and it did it again. I got it started and drove back but the speed was limited to exactly 14 miles per hour (yes I have the software upgrade that is supposed to allow a high limp speed).
The mechanic was there and was able to see the problem in real time. He through his computer on and it came up with several codes but estentially it was the throttle position senser again. So, called a friend (Don) and he came and picked me up and took me home which messed up his day as well. Now I am waiting to hear what they will do but it could be weeks before I will be on the road and our weather is fantastic right now. During the last bout of breakdowns they never changed the throttle body which was the common problem for most of the 2011's with simular issues.
Well, I can spend more time at home doing honey-do-items...oh joy! lol
