• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Broke the front splitter when backing the F3 off the trailer. What's the Best replacement solution?

Brand new to me 2022 F3T. First ride was backing it off the trailer and the front air splitter (lowest black air dam on the front of the Spyder) snagged on the ramp and broke in half. Only the black part broke, and all other front components look OK. The Dealer says the whole grill has to be replaced to fix it and they want $460 plus shipping. Is there any other good option?

HI rlynchtx,

Try Slingmods for that part.

You can put any of that hard plastic back together with JB Weld. If you are careful and try to do a neat job, you can sand it down and paint it too. I broke the air wing on my front suspension in half, and put it back together with JB Weld. Can't even see where it was broke without getting down on the ground and looking close. A deer knocked half the grill out of one of my Ford Rangers many years ago. Took a couple of days, but put all that back in with JB Weld too, and painted it to match the other side. If you want it perfect then spend the money. If you just want it put back so it is not real obvious that it was broken get a couple of packs of JB Weld epoxy.

There are various types of JB Weld adhesives. You'll have to figure which one will work with your style of plastic.
That is true, and the plastics have to be prepared for the JB Weld to adhere to them. They need to be cleaned, de-greased, and the surfaces roughed up. The regular 2 part JB Weld slow cure epoxy seems to be the strongest bond.

I can't get the attachment to work. Which part item number do you need?

Thanks, everyone, for the replies. AndysF3S - your write up is just what I needed. Ill see if I can order that part now. I think I'll JB Weld the old part as a back up once I have it all apart.
