• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Broke my antenna

Got my "shortee" from Custom Dynamics, works great. You don't have to bend the "shortee" near as much to get the cover on.

:dontknow: ????? You don't have to bend the antenna at all to install the travel cover. It is supposed to be installed at the rear first...over the antenna, then stretched over the front. Only the outdoor cover (originally delivered with the 2010 RTS and called a travel cover) and the full cover go on antenna last, and they have zippers to accomplish the job.

Those Wal-Mart replacements: is the reception the same as with the original?
I tried a C.D. Shortee and reception wasn't nearly as good...

Did you get too much Loctite on the threads? For best reception the Loctite should only contact the first thread...no farther!

Thanks for the input Scotty. Didn't get any instructions with the cover on how to install. Yours should help. Thanks again.

I hate how the rubber boot isn't all that secure. Secure enough to keep water out, but every time I clean the bike I knock it loose.
