• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Breaking in a 2014

Hi all, I was wondering if the 1330 engine uses any oil during the break in period up to the first oil change. I realize that not all will be the same but in general do they use oil during this time. Due to the late spring happening here it looks like I'll be on a planned road trip and need my first service away from my dealer. I guess what I need to know is did those of you who have the first service done already have to add oil during the break in. My bike is supposed arrive mid month... Thanks

So far, (And it's really too early to tell for sure...), it appears that the Trile will not be using as much oil between changes as the Vee-Twins do.

I have 3300 on my 2014 and will be doing first service next week
My oil is still full I have not added any oil

The twins seemed to use a bit, between their oil changes...
Mine would go through about 12 oz of oil. by the time I had 2,500 miles added on.

I just had my first service with 925 miles on the clock I like to change my oil and filter on a new motor between 600 and 1000 miles just to get the junk out of the motor, very cheap insurance.:2thumbs:
