I have a 2015 ST LTD, with about 400 miles on it.
The dealer who sold me said that during the break in period, I should be between the 3,000 to 4,000 RPM range. On this forum, I read that the spyder is happiest when shifted at over 5,000 to 5,500 RPMs, and drive it at 4,000-4,300 RPMs. Should I ever be in 5th gear, unless I am on a highway?
Is it Ok that I do that now, during the break-in period, or should I be more cautious?
Any other advice until I reach a certain mileage? And what should that mileage be? When I do my 600 miles maintenance, or beyond?
Thank you.
