• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hey everyone, Thanks to all that have replied to my two posts here. Today I went to the dealership for a test ride on a 2012 White RT Limited that just came in. I rode my Wing over and they had just preped the Spyder so I pulled out of the parking lot with 0 miles on the odometer. I just kept riding all the way home to my garage, lol, went back in my car with the titles on my Wing and my V-Strom. They asked me what I wanted for my bikes and I told them, it was $2400 over KBB trade in value on the Wing and $1500 over on my V-strom.(this was determined before the test ride) They agreed and we made the transaction, no Prep fees or freight and I got them to order me a free Utopia back rest and install it at no charge.

After a whopping 20 miles of riding I am already sold. The wife loves it as well... I made a conscience decision after 40 years on two wheels that I was hanging up two wheel riding for good. My choices were limited. A trike, (no way), a Spyder or another hobby, you see my decision.

Thanks again to all!

Thanks Everyone... This is a great Forum and even contributed to my decision to purchase. I can tell that Spyder riders are a great group of folks! I believe I will enjoy this forum better than the GL1800 Forum.
