• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Braking.

Hey everyone, hope you had a great weekend riding! I know I did. One thing I have notice on my spyder riding trips is when I start braking from a higher speed, I seem to get a bit of a hum when applying the brake pedal. I am pretty mechanical as I worked as a Bodyman/mechanic for 15 yrs, but I can't seem to figure what it might be. Possibly just this discs are warm and the friction is producing the sound? Any help would be very much appreciated, as I am bringing it in for the first service on Friday and would like to be able to make some suggestions to the mechanic. I will start getting more into the service myself once I spend the credit I was given when I purchased the spyder. I have had my Rt limited since May and have been enjoying it immensely! Thanks in advance for any thoughts on this. Ride safe!

Without being able to hear the pitch and intensity of the sound, my first guess would be that it is the ventilation holes in the disc passing by the pads. If that is the case, it is normal.
