• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

brake pedal

I am a new owner of 2012 RT SE5 and I like to have a wider or larger brake pedal better than what I have. It's just my choice and wondering if anything is available out there. I felt uneasy for my small brake pedal last weekend ride. Have a fun and safe ride to all.

This is a real easy fix...
TricLEDs is a site sponsor.
In their section with stuff for Spyders, they've got a full-sized brake pedal that bolts right on...
I've been using it for a while now, and it really helps cut down on the worries...

There is a brake extender made for this but I have limited computer access right now so I can't look it up. I'm sure someone will be on here soon to post a link.

Bob has the supplier posted. Here is a picture of the brake pedal mounted with seal floorboards. Order the new shim that raises the pedal about 3/4 higher so less chance of bottoming out in a panic stop.

:):)

thanks a lot for the tip

I have the ones from Tricled for the brake and the parking brake. If I were to do it again, I would spring for the extra cash to get the ones from ISCI (also a site sponsor). It's not that they would function any better; they just look much better to me.

Never mind. They only have them for the RS/GS.

We do offer a cover for the RT as well. Not much bigger than what he would have now. Just looks much nicer in our opinion.
