• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Brake pedal stuck

Had a strange thing happen yesterday, I took our 2011 RT to the dealer for the latest computer update, and when I picked it up and left I thought that the brake pedal felt different, but I was also wearing a different pair of shoes, so shruged it off. After a couple of miles something just didnt feel right and I could smell hot brakes. I stopped and sure enough the rear brake was draging slightly and was hot. Then the brake pedal thing not feeling right came back to mind and I reached down and pulled up on the pedal and it popped and came up. and the brake is no longer draging. Anybody got any ideas as to what the heck happened, the only explaination I can come up with is that maybe a little rock had somehow got stuck in the linkage, but having never looked at the linkage I dont know if thats even possible. One thing I do know is that STUFF happens.

Could have been a small rock. Will say I was very surprised when doing my chrome mods to find all the pivot points in the brake system devoid of any lubrication. In fact, think I mentioned that in one of my posts. Something you may want to check. FWIW

Just wanted to say hi. Not many Friar Tucks around or any plain Tucks for that matter.

I am an old guy, but still pretty young at heart. Sure enjoy my RT.

Maybe we'll meet up at some Spyder gathering - ya never know. :chat:
