• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I RAISED MY BRAKE PEDAL ON MY 2012 RT LIMITED BY 1" A BIG IMPROVEMENT. I USED A PIECE OF ALUMINUM CHANEL I HAD CUT IT TO SIZE DRILLED 2 HOLES I HAD TO BUY 2 STAINLESS STEEL BOLTS 1 1/4" LONGbrake peddle2.jpg:doorag:

What was your reasoning behind raising it 1 inch? Might be a dumb question but do you find it more awkward now to lift your foot onto the brake pedal?

Changing from the stock RT pegs to some RT footboards also involves some change in foot movement required for braking.... With the stock pegs & pedal you simply slide or swivel your foot to press the brake pedal ...

Any change that requires you to lift your foot as well, even slightly, may take some getting used to and may not be quite as fast when you need it most.
Even though some footboards offer a more comfortable foot position, this change in braking may not be for everyone.

Doesn't it look like the floor board would have been in the way of the brake lever travel if he hadn't raised it?

I have Seal Floorboards on both my RT's. I added extended brake pedals and raised them up similar to what was shown. I was afraid of the brake pedal bottoming out on the floorboard. No such problems now with my current set up.

Sorry, you can't see the riser from this view--but its there.
