Before you buy ....look at the PICs provided by the maker.....because of the length of extender, it looks like you will only be using your toes to brake......Maybe you are OK with that......Me I have some concerns......I have already made some panic stops that would have ended badly using this EXTENDER........good luck......Mike

Or does it give you quicker access to the pedal from a set of highway pegs?? :dontknow:
No doubt; you'll be stretching from the more "conventional" foot placements :shocked:

I ordered one hoping it will take the kink out of my hip. not sure I like the elimination of the rubber foot pad?

Just my 2 cents but I think the factory design is uncomfortable at best. As I stated in my thread it makes you have to lift your leg and try to control the amount of brake pressure you are trying to apply while your heel is raised off the floorboard. Crappy design from an ergonomics stand point. After my first 100 mile ride with the factory setup I almost sold the RT. No way I was going to continue riding it if I was going to be in pain. Riding is supposed to be enjoyable. I'm old and I have enough stuff that hurts, I do not need to add to the pain factor. My mod fixed the problem for me. Your results my vary.

Looking at the pics on their site it extends the brake pedal forward and outward, but not upward. If your legs are too long for the stock then this might help. If your legs are on the short side then this is not the one for you. I'm not impressed by its looks, nor at the lack of a rubber pad. Actually I think it looks kind of tacky, and I know tacky. I've done enough of that sort of thing myself! :yikes:

Hey All.

i also have the TRICLED larger brake pedal and am going to transfer it to my new Spyder, but was looking for alternatives. Comfort Spyder in Florida has the aluminum billet that I really like the looks of, but I am having trouble finding out if he has any in stock.

The reason I have not re-installed the TRICLED one again, is that the rubber on the end ripped. I contacted Reggie, and he had Steve Allen, the maker of the peddle respond back to me regarding a replacement rubber. For those that are interested, the replacement rubber pad is a
Dorman brake pedal #20716.

This may be useful to some.
