• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I wonder if it will need an additional return spring? The one I made did because of the extra weight the brake light tended to stay on. Not sure I like it mounting from the underside. I may give them a call to get some more info.

This may help some folks, but you'd almost have to have one to see if it's going to work for you. The other problem I see, at first glance, is that it would restrict the amount of space you have to move your foot forward on the floorboard. My knees are most comfortable when I can move my foot is far forward as possible .

Very nice...

From the hole pattern it looks like the rubber pad from the RS will fit. If the RT has the same pad it could work as well...:thumbup:

I doubt that the factory rubber pad will work. It has a piece of steel that is cast or molded into it that is tapped for small metric screws. You need larger bolts to attach the extended arm just as a matter of strength. I used 1/4"-28 grade 8 bolts for the one I made.
 
Here is another version that is around. Have been using them on all my :spyder2:'s since the RT came out.

There is about a 3/4 rubber block that goes under the pedal to raise the whole thing up so that you will not mash the floorboard in a panic stop. So far, so good. :thumbup:
 
Web boards (one of the site sponsors) has brake pedals as well. One of their versions actually put the brake pedal out further. It was very handy for when needing to use it, but it got in the way and restricted my movement on the boards too much (I have big feet). A friend purchased the same set up with a different brake pedal and we just switched out. He is shorter, with smaller feet, and loves it. Much better than the stock pedal.
