• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Has anyone replaced a brake light switch and was it a big job?
I have a 2014 RTS and something keeps blowing the VCM fuse :banghead: I'm getting a C0040 code and C006C which mentions the light switch problem.also got a P0504 and a P061E code one of the 4 times it happened.
TIA, Leon

Have you checked the brake switch with a meter and checked for any damaged wires? Check under your brake pedal you will see it.

And have you raised the bike recently or hit something under the Spyder?

No I haven't checked it with a meter.
I did recently have the rear shock replaced.
I'll look for a bad wire I looked in the back but not under the pedal.
Thanks
