• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Brake fluid reservoir caps leaking

Is it common for both brake fluid reservoir caps to leak? Its a 2008 SE5, been doing it for all of its 3000 miles.
No! Take it to the dealer before the fluid ruins something. If the brake pads were replaced, it could simply have been done poorly and it is overfull, but otherwise, it indicates a problem.

I can't find it now . . . . .

. . . . but some other people have posted that there is a proper way of putting those caps on so they don't leak.

I don't think I was just dreaming this, because I checked mine and one was on wrong and you could see where it was slightly leaking.

I will check for more info, if somebody does not post the answer.
But I have to go for right now.

I can't find it either, but because the reservoir is tilted down at the front he made sure the caps were installed with the vents toward the back and it fixed his leak.

I seem to remember a post about a hole that should be in the cap for venting (???). I could be wrong.
