• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Brake failure light came on my 2010 Can Am Spyder RT. Fluid is good, no leaks, fuses good. Rear brake pads low. Ordered new ones, but was wondering if anyone else has had this trigger the brake failure display before or is there something else going on??

Check the parking brake

We had one fail on Wednesday. Cable slips off the front pulley. Check that, too!

This happens quite often due to various things, low brake fluid being a main one. However, when your rear pads get thin you will definitely get the failure light. Sometimes the pads are not thin but the bar they slide on gets a build up and the pad doesn't return properly. If you're doing your own work, make sure that bar is thoroughly cleaned with a tiny bit of moly lube on it when reinstalled. If you ordered OEM pads they come with new bars.
