There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Br windshield or route 129???

I rode to my local dealership today hoping they have the windshields in stock to kind of compare the two and decide finally which way to go... :sour:
I am 5'11" 32" inseam and don't mind wind in my face. I have the aggressive handlebars installed and When I had my sts I used to ride with the windshield at its lowest setting and I loved it. It was rare when I set it at its highest setting but at times it served its purpose. Now I am uncertain which way to go.
I definitely don't like the look of the big aftermarket windshields out there. Br windshield and route 129 both are appealing to me. My question is which one should be the closest to the setting I used to have in my Sts as far as height and looks are concerned??? Anybody out there that used to own an Sts and has either one of the shields in question please advise... Thanks

Talk to F4 CUSTOM WINDSHIELDS. Love mine, have the 28", you would need the 32", great windshield, I got the first production run, drove to Don's house to have it installed. It loves Route 129.

129 Windscreen

Hey, Lamont -

In the pic, it looks like your 129 is smoke tint. Looks cool. BRP doesn't offer smoke. If it is tinted, what's the best way do it?

Don't want to tread on Lamont's toes here but he has posted elsewhere that his "tint" is a
professionally applied perforated wrap that was done by a company local to him.

Since I do not own one YET how is the F3 or F3S without a shield. Is the air flow clean.Does it remain clean with the spoiler or 129 shield?I always found windsheilds to be a half full or half empty issue'I am 6 foot 3 so Usaully for good protection I need a tall and wide shield which takes away from the sporty looks IMHO of the F3.As long as the air flow is deflected to my chest or lower I am fine so not to have buffeting and wind noise on my helmet. So hows the air flow without or with a shorty spoiler or 129 shield?

without shield

Without the windshield, depending on the type of helmet you wear can feel like it's ripping your head off. It's 10x worse with my open face helmet, but less severe with my full face helmet. I ride about 25k per year so a windscreen was as must. I looked at the ones from BRP but too short for anyone over 5'11". And the one from F4 was way to big and an eyesore in my opinion. The Madstad smoothes the wind beautifully in all conditions (rode from Edmonton, Alberta Canada to New Orleans and back last year with my open face and the Madstad and it was a great experience)
