• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

bought my 2013 Spyder ST Limited today at Bibbens Sales and Service

Congratulations. I bought my 2013 RT-S from them too. I was in there yesterday and saw a white ST on the floor. Was that the one you bought? There is a ton of great information on this site. Welcome to the forum.

yes that was mine, they had swapped the chrome wheels for another customer but ordered some for me...they are going to deliver it maybe around March since Jay their service guy lives in Oswego also he offered to bring it here. The planets really lined up on this one. Very happy to own one after drooling over them for the past few years. Life's short! Have fun!

If you get over to the groups page you can join us here in the NY Spyder Ryders. It is always good to have another spyder ryder here in the empire state. Check out Spyderquest, we will be doing it again this year. Have fun, and don't hesitate to ask questions.

Just sayin'............

thanks, I will check it out. I am very interested in the fellowship of other riders.

Congrats! We bought our RT from Bibbens last July. Great dealer, have been buying snowmobiles and now the spyder for 20 years. Maybe we will ride together this summer. Hope spring arrives SOON.

love hearing from you locals and those who have done business with Bibbens. yesterday Linda, Anne and I were like 3 teenaged girls going thru the new shipment of Spyder clothing and having me try things on.

Cool. I hope you don't mind that I was sitting on it checking it out :)

Jay is awesome and VERY knowledgeable. He goes out of his way to explain things. I've always ridden Honda motorcycles (25+ years) before buying the Spyder and have never received better service than what he provides.

My neighbor bought a Spyder from them in 2012. She is 60+ and did not have her license. They delivered it, took her out riding and even took her to her road test so that she could get her license. I wonder how many dealers would do that?

Congrats from O-H-I-O

Sounds like you have an exceptional dealer up there. Hopefully the service after the sale is exceptional as well. My dealer here treats me well and so does his service manager so I believe there will be no issues once I get my first Can Am Spyder from him. The ST Limited would be my second choice behind the RT models and it sits pretty comfortably. Good luck with yours and please post us some pictures when you get the chance.

hahaha don't mind a bit! Yes they do seem exceptional don't they? I really lucked out, I just went out there maybe a week ago and there sat the machine I wanted. Now I own it already. Very lucky girl.

I managed to upload one photo but the rest just gave me error messages. New to interacting in a forum. I took several photos and would like to share. Will try again.

Did Anne mention anything about organized rides that they do through the dealership? The next time I'm in there I'll see if they've got anything like that. There is definitely a lot of good riding areas in CNY.

Anne did mention that there are organized rides and I would like to be on any list to receive communication about this. She has my email too. Still feeling like a million bucks after buying this machine but what a tease having to wait months to ride.

That's great to hear. I'll touch base with her in the spring when I take mine in for the ECM update. That feeling will fade a little bit with time, but all you have to do is go out to the garage to take a look at it and it will come back :)

Look at it this way, as far as winter goes, we are more than half way through. There are many years where I've been out on the roads by late March. Spring will come!!!
