• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

At one time Cycle Gear was a dealer for many brands of helmets. I am a HJC fan as I know they fit me and quality seems good. The local Cycle Gear has gone pretty much across the board to the "Bilt" helmet line which is likely made overseas somewhere and I would like to see what the helmet looks like and hear how it fits and the bluetooth thing works. Does the bluetooth include an FM receiver? Does it intercomm or connect easy to a phone? I have been looking at J&M audio as they fit bluetooth stuff into HJC helmets (IS-33 in particular). I would prefer 3/4 helmets, btw.

Check out Motorcycle Dave's for the best prices on Bluetooth headsets. Just call him visit with him awhile,great guy. I bought my headsets and the Dongle from him. I had a little trouble mounting the dongle,called Dave,he explained what I missed in the video and job done. He is a sponsor for this site.

its the same shell - only the spoiler on the top and the frontpanel is new -for me it looks much better now

That's cool. I'll have to look into one. I had the old style st1 be for I bought my gtair. I really liked it quite a bit.

Will that spoiler fit on the old style? I'm not ready for a new helmet yet but I sure would like to get that visor and put it on mine. Hopefully they are available from Givi.

I think you could add the spoiler on the old "ST1"

the shield has two big wholes for the air - I do not feel any pressure that the helmet moves up when I go faster
I like hybrid-helmets and this now looks great - we never used the bluetooth what we had on the old versions
- I use it 90% open my girl 90% closed because of the dust in her face after a tour ;)
the european version with more airflow (than your USA-part) inside the helmet costs around 110 Dollars without VAT & freight -so not really expensive

Would like to know what you or anyone else thinks about this helmet. Been looking at the helmet for my wife and maybe myself as well.
