• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Local dealer called me today, comfort seat is in sorry I don't have the part number. Guess I'll buy that instead of the Corbin Modular Saddle. I will post pictures once installed if anyone wants to see it.

Pics when you get a chance. I'm shopping around right now to see and hear what is best. Stock seat was fine until I drove to Daytona and back last Saturday.:(

ya i have looked at them.... PN-219400153 and its 429.99 hafe the price of the corbin..... :dontknow:

Sorry, but the Corbin is NOT twice the price:

The basic Corbin seat runs $289 for the Front and $259 for the rear for a total of $ 548.00.

Heated seats are more, backrests are extra too.

I've seen the BRP seat...actually, last week...it's a lot nicer than stock...much better looking, IMHO...as far as comfort, it's certainly better than stock...

My dealer's parts guy called today to say my BRP Comfort Seat had arrived. They'll put it on for me tomorrow so I'll post a pic.

Yep, actually the Corbin seat is probably the best bargain they have going. Its only when you add backrests, heat, or a special seatcover that the price starts climbing. We had to wait for the quantity discount period to order a Russell saddle and get the price competitive with the stock Corbin. Based on the price of their saddle bags, trunks, fairing, etc. you'd expect the Corbin seat to start at $800 or more...

Our Corbin seat was $609.00 installed and special built at the factory. We were able to drive to Hollister to have it done in less than 5 hours by appointment. It's a class act production. Leather. 3 Spyder logos. Wife's seat was built up 4 inches and the slant and tailbone crusher removed.

Can you use the Corbin with the Spyder OEM pillion backrest?

Sure can --- look at my post of my new BRP saddlebags and you'll see the Corbin seat and the BRP backrest together.

Even in Michigan I didn't opt for the heated seats - it's never my butt that gets cold when riding - always the extremities - so I doubt a heated seat would do much for me. Of course I'm a bit of a wimp and usually cut off my riding around 40 - 45 degrees.

The seat came from Rob's cost $387+tax. They had 5, according to Jackie all were sold, she ordered more but now they are at the bottom of the list again so good luck trying to get one. I did install it this evening, and it was pretty easy. The seat is quite an advancement over stock, however I have not taken the bike out to see how comfortable it truly is. I will take pictures tomorrow in the daylight, but it probably wont matter someone will race to post pics on here I am sure. I like the fact that it has the stitched seat appearance.

Hope this fits.If one gets the Corbin seat and backrest it comes to much less than the Spyder seat with Spyder back rest and Spyder sport rack. For my life I can't understand BRP $700 for a backrest luggage rack is talking me right out of one.I mean right out of a Spyder. The Corbin seat as you know has placement for backrests that are optional for rider and passenger but the Spyder seat has no means to fit a rider backrest.

Come on BRP.
