Today I decided to pop into Can Am dealer to see Oxford Blue on a F3-S in the flesh. But there was another colour shouting at me and got my attention, this was a 2014 ST in what I believe to be the Cognac colour. This was the first time I have seen an ST in the flesh and first time seeing the colour Cognac. All I thought about was Bob Denman and his RT in Cognac. Right now I am thinking do I join the Cognac club by buying this ST. Having two Spyders in my life would be amazing.:yes::yes::yes:

If you are considering adding a second--not a bad choice if you want that Cognac color.

You will be missing out on that 1330 power that you are now used to. Since the ST is discontinued--they should be selling it at a "bargain" price in order to clear it out.

No dissing here. I have the deluxe ST (RT) in 2011 model. We still like it a lot. :bowdown:

My advice... If you are serious about owning two Spyders, I'd see if you can take a test ride on that ST before giving up on it - especially since you already own an F3. It's quite a different machine than the F3, and you may find that you like it a lot. If I were inclined to own two Spyders (which I'm not), the ST would be my choice for a second one. :thumbup: (Especially if I could get it at a deeply discounted price.)

Just 'cause you have the coolest RS on the planet, doesn't necessarily mean they are "the best".

Take it for a ride- I have the 998 RT which I love because of the wider gearing (Manual Shift) and I can rev out and hit 60 in 2nd gear while shifting to 3rd!~
My F3 (Manual ) is also Great in its own right for the torque!
They are different enough that I still enjoy riding both and usually alternate them so one does Not get jealous?
