• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

A dial up really works. Small elect to power, Keep one in the closet for emergencys ! If not can and string work as well. If you like your neighbors. Glad youall are OK!

happy your back..

Talked to my daughter in Delaware this evening. She works at Lowes. She said that people were returning generators they bought before the storm but they were going back out just as fast being sold to people in NY and NJ. She sold one to a lady who drove all the way from Long Island just to buy a generator.

Gee, I thought I might have the opportunity to catch up with Bob's number of posts. Seriously though Bob, glad to hear you made it through ok. Dale

Our TV news feed from NY records a very sad picture of a wonderful city laid low.

Very happy to hear you are OK, Bob.

We know that there are lots more of us waiting for some relief with this whole mess...
We were pretty darn lucky; many were not.
A BIG group prayer for all of them...

That's actually pretty funny because my good friend lives in Middletown DE and when his power didn't go out and ours did, I drove down there and took his generator and brought it up to Southern NJ.:D
We lost power early in the storm Monday but they had it back on by late Tuesday evening. I have to give props to Atlantic City Electric......they kicked ass and earned their money after this storm around this area.

Bob, I sent money up to you yesterday (a few days behind what I was hoping to get it out) to add to either the generator fund or the "warm water" fund....:yikes: :D

I'm watching for it; Bro... I was worred that I'd have no way to get in touch with you; but now we're in good shape!

Sure don't need THAT!!
