This sounds like a REAL good meal!! :2thumbs:Seems to be chili season. Made some last night. Kept mine a little simpler:
85/15
Red Beans (hate kidney beans)
Onion
Green Peppers
Tomatoes
Dried, ground New Mexico and Chipotle pepper
Garlic, Cumin, Mexican Oregano, Ancho Chili Powder, S&P
Trb--
I prefer the Black Beans, to the red ones; but they're both pretty darn good!
I'm confused! Who is "Bob D"?

Well; The Missus pronounced it, "fit for human consumption?...:yes::yes:
She was impressed with my restraint; it's a VERY mile chili.
I told her that I didn't want to make it too hot for her, the first time out.
After everything went in the pot, we only had to add a bit of salt, and some sugar to the mix.
As for me...
I was disappointed.
I'd call it a safe effort.. but uninspiring.
It needs something (Well... TWO somethings.)
More hear
a little for flavor.
Realizing that I have no cooking skills; is it okay to add Barbecue sauce to chili? :dontknow:
