• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Bluetooth headsets

On a 2014 RTs with the bluetooth dongle installed, if I have the Bluetooth headsets, can you just talk to your passenger, like with a wired setup, or is there buttons to push? On all our other setups, the radio would cut out while we talked and then the radio would pick back up after you quit talking. Also will anything that would normally play through the speakers play through the Bluetooth headsets? ( factory radio, iPod plugged into trunk connector)

What headsets do you have as it depends on the model on what you have to do and what you can hear.

Yes when the BT dongle (Sena SM10) is on, you should hear anything that would come out the speakers in your headsets.

With the Sena S20 (can't speak to others) you have 2 intercom options for talking to passenger similarly equipped.

First anything that can come out your speakers can be and will be sent to the headset.

For intercom you can connect in a basic Intercom mode by pushing a side button to connect and pushing again to disconnect, or you can set up a Group and then connect to that group by pushing a Bottom button.
Yes, the music is silenced when in intercom and returns when finished.

Sena manuals are online if you'd like to read thru them before making your decision.

That's is why I am asking what headsets he has.

The 20S has a new feature where you can be in intercom mode and hear the music coming from the SM10 in the background. All previous models when you tapped the jog dial to go into intercom mode, all other sounds would be cut off.

I have 2014 RT and Sena S20. Do I need to install/buy a cable as well to connect with bikes sound system when I purchase Sena SM 10?
