• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Bluetooth Dongle for 2013

SENA Bluetooth Dongal

I just installed the SENA SM10's on both of my bikes, and the SMH10's on our helmets. And I didn't buy any of it from BRP. I Paid $502. for (2) SM10's, for (1) SMH10D Headsets and one Intercom cord for the Harley Ultra Classic. The cord for the ST- Limited came with it. I installed all of it in (1 Hour) EVERYTHING UP AND RUNNING (30 Minutes later) Remember that price ( $502.00 delivered from Amazon ) Wife and I went riding Monday and her and my bikes worked great, it took a little getting used to the knobs and buttons. I wouldn't buy it from BRP, it's a waste of your money. And hooking it up on her ST Limited took 10 minutes.

BRP gives you a very long cable...

From the picture, it seems to be the SENA SM10, which sells for $120 on the web. BRP will see it for $250.

I guess that for $250 you also get a very good cable.

...Ben...

actually they do, it's very long, and pretty and plugs into the radio at the rear of the machine and leads to the frunk where BRP recommends installing it. Also comes with an extreemly nice looking dongle bracket, charging cable and installation fittings....whoops, forgot the instruction book too....LOL Such a deal !

Silly question here....does the BRP dongle setup with BT headsets also allow you to talk between driver and passenger?

thanks for the help!

sorry if this has been covered... wife has a 2012 RT-S, I have a Goldwing. I am looking into Sena SMH10 for both her, and I and sm10 for bothe bikes. the wing is easy. it's already wired for headsets. the SM10 looks like it plugs into a headset jack. What do i need to do add to the Spyder to get the headset jack? or, just bite the bullet and go the Can am route ?

Thanks
John
