• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BLUEKNIGHT911 - Diagnosed June, Passed away due to cancer 23 Oct 2024 - RIP

Mike was the real thing. Honest, outspoken, a gentleman. Never met in person but had many on-line communications. He was a friend and I will miss him. RIP, Mike

Mike was a high post contributor, with over 20,000 posts. When he said stage 4, it was from June - October. May God be with your family at this time

So sorry to hear this news. I had a chance to ride with Mike one time at a SL event.
He was a real standup Guy. He will be missed.

Oh no! Always felt like I knew Mike personally, enjoyed his useful comments, and PM's. Thanks Peter for letting us know. Feel like I lost a good friend.

Wow, so sorry to see this. Ditto to all said above. I felt like I "knew" him from all his posts and contributions.

I am here every day, yet this is the first I have seen this notice. Although I never got to meet Mike in person, he was always very helpful to me both personally and in general here on SpyderLovers. You are missed Mike and there will not be another like you. Go with God and I pray for His comfort for your family...

I first met Mike at Spyderfest 2015 in Missouri. He led a ride to Arkansas (on the road that ends at a man-made lake and you need to take a free ferry across to continue; I don't remember the name of the road or lake.) He was a spirited rider (to say the least) but I managed to keep up with him, leaving the rest of the group some distance behind. When we stopped to let the rest of the group catch up, he walked up to me and said "man, you are one hell of a rider!"

I still treasure that memory.
