• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Blinder LaserJammer

I have the rockymountain radar detector/jammer RMR-C435 and have had great success with it. I know it works as I was going down a street and there was a popo hiding. The radar went off so I slowed down and was going about 10 over the limit and he was staring at the gun then back at me and the gun an back at me. Then he aimed it down and did something but I was long gone and laughing at the look on his face to find out what was going on.

That may help avoid a speeding ticket from the on coming position, but you now have a few other potential problems. For one, those are illegal in some states, like MI, and you would end up with a ticket regardless. The other issue many never think of is that all speeding isn't caught by radar. They can time you from behind, from the air or car to car. My brother in law is a state trooper, when he was on the road he used to love catching speeders with radar detectors.

Doc needs all the help he can get. nojoke

Why don't you all save your money and just go the speed limit :roflblack:

I've ridden with Doc, and trust me, that is not going to happen. Lamont is right, he needs any little bit that might help. He needs a stealth spyder.

On the stationary radar speed checker, I noticed you have to get a lot closer with the :spyder: before it would give a reading compared to a car.

Are those the ones alongside the road that display your speed? I thought it was some kind of contest to see who could get the highest score!:roflblack:

I seriously do step on the gas when I see one of those -just to mess with them. They don't do tickets off of them in Michigan.

Like my mother always said, if you have nothing constructive to add to a convo, don't say anything.

Doc, he never goes above the posted speed limit, he just can't read numbers on signs so he never knows what it is.

Be careful around here. Our police force has taken great fun (and increased their revenue) by setting up a stationary speed display, then placing a hidden radar car, or guy with a gun, a short way down the road. Sneaky little devils!

Heck ... that's exactly what I'd do if I were a cop .... my best friend who is a cop does that all the time.

From what I got, it's only good for laser there's also lidar and radar bands out there.

Hence the name "Laser Jammer". :D

But they apparently have interfaces into many of the popular RADAR detectors. I use a Valentine One which is upgradeable as technology progresses.

I haven't had a RADAR ticket since starting the use of the V1 and others years ago. Because of what it uses (light beams), LASER is next to impossible to detect and provide an early warning to the driver. The next best thing... jam it.
