• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2017 RTL 50,000 miles. When starting it sometimes the screen will have all vertical lines on it. Now I tried start it nothing happens ,everything is blank. I had battery checked today at auto zone he said it was fine. Went to start it & nothing everything went blank. I did check the kill switch that was ok didn't hit that. I ended up jump starting it drove it back home (maybe 3 miles away) left in the drive running few minutes later it quit by it self. What is going on with it any idea?? Just had it serviced, checked the oil that is right up there.

When my first battery went paws up two years ago, I knew it was going but have a Rugged Geek jump pack and kept riding. The day it died before it completely did so I saw weird lines and stuff on the screen and then it went completely blank. Jumped it with RG, rode home and bought new battery. Were I you I would very thoroughly clean the battery terminals, both cables and the down stream terminals to make certain both are tight. If you have a multimeter I would also check the battery's voltage with ignition off and see what it reads. Then check it while cranking and see what it reads. A related aside: a year ago about this time I had AAA come to house to check the battery on my old Dodge Grand Caravan as it would barely crank. Technician allegedly load tested it and pronounced it OK, even showing me readout, told me to charge it overnight. Did so and next day it barely cranked but engine caught and I headed for my mechanic; en route weird stuff appeared on dashboard gauges. Told mechanic and he said battery was so bad what I saw was normal and replaced battery. AAA lost a sale.

Your battery is shot. When battery voltage drops below 10.5 when you hit the Start button what you saw is what you get. If the blank screen shows up as soon as you turn on the key, your battery is REALLY shot!
