• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Black hole in Springfield, MO

I went to the Bass Pro Outlet store and bought a replacement for my lost Swiss Army knife. It's a tiny little Gerber multi-tool, so if my pocket knife turns up, at least I'll have a variety of tools. The guy showing the knives to me pointed out that the knife tip on the Gerber was blunt, so you can't accidentally stick yourself with the end. I was thinking, "What? Do I look like I'm in kindergarden?"

So I ask to see another knife that would be easier to open. The guy handed it to me opened and I closed it and then got it about 1/2 open and stuck the side of my thumb with it! :opps: He asks if I'd like a band-aid. Since I take blood-thinners I think that's a good idea. He can't find one, so I go the the ladies room, rinse it and hold a paper towel on it. While I'm in there I hear on the PA, "Code 13, knife counter. Code 13, knife counter." Great. How embarrassing. I go back to the counter and there's another employee there waiting with a band-aid. I asked if he's a doctor. No, but he is a paramedic!!

At least they didn't call an ambulance. :gaah:

 Got everything stopped; I hope!
(The Bell is on the way... Maybe I should have sent you a pair of them to wear as earrings... :D)

I look forward to getting it, Bob. Thank you!

Not sure if this will help:

In my 50's I started "losing" things also. The memory of where I "lost" them was short and it really upset me. Now in my 60's I still "lose" things and get PO'd about it but I forget about being upset very quickly. Result = happy disillusionment and enjoyment ryde to the store to replace it.

I just worry in my 70's I will "Lose my way home."

It's like that crazy people who don't know they're crazy don't have a problem!
