• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Billet aluminum floorboards

DSC00622.jpg

Ride position is great and I wasn't able to make the floorboards sparkle in aggresive driving.

I could go out and measure, but am being lazy this morning. ;)

Does that make these the lowest thing on the Spyder, as far as ground clearance?

Heck, I've driven cars with lower ground clearance than that. Maybe not before I got in, but afterwards.....

:joke:

These look to be almost exactly where my simple floorboards ended up after I added the second layer of rubber mat to them!

OK, I'm confused. eBay says the listing has ended. I go to the seller's store and I can't find these floorboards. What am I missing.....besides an active social life.

:dontknow:

Thanks Doc! Those pictures are worth a thousand words.

Have you been able to ride with them and test for comfort yet?

Tommorow I'll try them in a short ride Tampa-Miami-Tampa. So far, no problems with mounting and dismonting, foot position, bracke, shift or aggresive riding.

They are working on their website according to Mark Drysdale.

He says they will maintain a listing for these. It is the weekend and they may have simply not done a new one yet. Check tomorrow.

Back from a short (650 miles) ride and am really impressed with the extra comfort that it gives me.
Two notes:
-I have to move the shifter position higher
-check if all torx screws are tight

Floor Boards

The company is in Canada. They are taking orders for the gray and the black floor boards. The price is $399 plus shipping USD. Their number is (905) 899-4725. Joanie is the person taking the orders. You can tell them you got the number from me. Denis Colello. My boards are shipping Friday. They have other stuff for the Spyder.

New FloorBoards

Got my new Floor Boards Friday and installed them on Saturday. I like the way they look a lot. I'm im Minnesota so I didn't get much of a change to ride with them but I think they are going to work great.

One thing I have to add. Docdoru kind of lied. He said they take 3 - minutes to install. Well that true if you read the directions. If your like me and read the directions as a last ditch effort then it take about 7 minutes each to install......lol Really they are very very easy to install. Like Docdoru said you will prob have to adjust your shift lever.

Anyway the have my recomendation......:2thumbs:

WANT THEM
