• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Biker's Friend Luggage

Considering buying the biker's friend for my RS. Wanted to get some feedback from my fellow Spyders before I make the purchase. I do not have a backrest, so my thoughts are that the lumbar attachment would be pretty handy on longer trips. I need more storage without having to put a second mortgage on my house to pay for it. Also, the size that would look best on the RS. Would like for it to blend with the rest of the bike. I have my pen and paper ready. Shoot me your thoughts and ideas.

I put one (I think the medium size) on my RT for a trip and found it was too big - it pushed me too far forward. So make sure the one you get is sized right. Test it with riding gear, which can be a lot bulkier and take up more room than street clothes. Good luck. It's a very well built piece of luggage.

Deb (dltang) had one, and she loved it. Not sure she checks in here much since she sold her Spyder.
