• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Engine just stop and won't start. New battery and fresh gas. Cranks good but won't start.
Is there a fuse that could be blown? Where do I start checking to find the problem, believe in ignition. How do I get to the spark plugs without taking some of panels off?

Welcome to the forum Happygramp. I'm not sure if your new to the Spyder or not. so try basic thing first. Sit on Spyder make sure the kill switch is not in the off position. click it back and forth a few times, and leave it in the run position. turn key wait for it to tell you to read card then hit the mode button, Now step on the brake and keep your foot on the brake and push the start button. Any luck? If you are not new sorry to run you through the basic but so many forget at first, me included.

:agree: and for Spyders, the only time you don't have to remove " Panels " is when you add gas or check oil .... for all else Tupperware / ie. panels must be removed .... good luck .... Mike

I would check the spark If there is a weak spark or no spark then work back from there. It could be bad spark plug wires or the coil. The new battery make sure it has a full charge they will drain if set on cement or from sitting on the store shelves as you don't know how long it sat.

You can't get to any spark plug on an RT without removing a lot of plastic. Since you have a VTwin you have to do both sides. For the rear plug pretend you are doing an oil change. For the front plug pretend you are doing an oil change but on the right side and also remove the entire air box/filter.Good luck.
